Next Thursday my oldest daughter turns 18, the week after she graduates from high school. I’m not sure where the time went. This comes with a small amount of freedom on my part. I’m excited to let her have her head and frightened to let her have her head. But as I have told myself before, if I do the kid raising thing right, the kid eventually moves on with their lives to do what ever cool thing they have in their heart.

I was able to register for Sock Summit, which was a funny process. I got two classes that I wanted and I am looking forward to four days of knitting immersion. Silk Exotica and Socks without Wool. Both spinning classes. Go Figure!
